Our next production is a joint production of "The Winter’s Tale", being performed as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s (RSC) Open Stages Project, the aim of which is to encourage amateur groups to engage with the works of William Shakespeare.

This is the first time that the Barony Players and the Linlithgow Players have collaborated on such a project, but the production, we are sure, will confirm the hard work and enthusiasm that has been put in by both clubs.

We have aimed high with this work, not being one of Shakespeare’s more popular ones, and both actors and technical teams have found it challenging, but we are very happy with the sheer professionalism that our actors have achieved. We’ve also had a lot of fun whilst rehearsing it, and hope that this will be reflected in the performances.
